  • 1980 -- Surveyed to find interest for a new Lutheran Church
  • 1987 -- Pastor Craig S. Carlson called to ministry
  • 1988 -- First worship service of Bread of Life Lutheran Church
  • 1992 -- Building of the new church
  • 2010 -- Pastor Curt Hanson
  • 2011 -- Pastor Taryn Montgomery
  • 2011 -- Augustana Lutheran worshipped at BOL and moved office and activities to BOL because of flood

Our Mission Statement: "Growing to Serve"

We have a variety of services to accomodate your worship preferences, and welcome you to worship with us!

September through May

Saturday evening - 5:00 p.m.
This service is a more traditional service with a shortened liturgy. The fourth Saturday each month features  "Old -Time Gospel"  music and leaders.

Sunday - 9:00 a.m.

This is a more traditional service.  Service used is from the  Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) hymnal.  

Sunday School - 10:00 a.m.

Sunday School is open to all Bread of Life and Augustana Lutheran youth ages pre-school through 8th grade.  Visitors are certainly welcome!

Sunday - 11:00 a.m.

This worship service features a contemporary service with a less formal liturgy, and a more modern liturgy from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship (ELW) hymnal.  The praise and worship music team leads the congregation in song.

June through August

Saturday - 5:00 p.m.
This service is a more traditional service with shortened liturgy.
Sunday - 9:30 a.m.
This service style alternates between traditional and contemporary during the summer months.

Communion
Communion is served on the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month, and during both worship services on Sundays.  As Lutherans we believe that Christ is fully present in the Lord's Supper, in the bread and the wine laid before us.  All those who profess Christ's love are welcome at the table.

There are occasional service time changes during holidays - Please check the monthly calendar for correct times.

Handicap Accessible
Bread of Life is a one-level building and is easily accessed from the parking lot.
