Give to the "Drive for 25" – Playground & Pavilion Project - This weekend we launch our “Drive for 25” FUNraiser! That’s right – in honor of our 25th Anniversary we have set a goal of raising $25,000 for the playground/pavilion project! You are invited to give in increments of 25 – be it $25, $250, $2,500 – you get the picture. Financial gifts can also be given in honor of loved ones or as a memorial. We invite you to give generously to this project, as together we reach out to youth and families in our community.
Summer Book Group - This summer our Kindle the Faith series will focus on Anne Lamott's newest book, "Help, Thanks, Wow". It's a quick and easy read, and offers witty reflections on prayer, faith, and life. Join Pastor Taryn on Monday evenings at 7pm at Barnes and Noble. We will meet June 3 and 17, and July 1 and 15. The book can be found at Barnes and Noble or online at Amazon.com. See Pastor Taryn with any questions.
Special congregation meeting results Those attending the meeting on May 12th voted to extend a pastoral call to candidate Alex Hoops.
Anniversary Choir - We are looking for individuals who would join together to sing for special events during this 25th anniversary year. You think you can't sing? In God's choir, all voices are great voices. First practice will be Tuesday, May 21st, 7 pm. Questions talk to Sandy Gilbertson or call the church office.
Anniversary Items (T-shirts, yard signs and cell phone holders) are for sale at all services this weekend. All items sell for $7.00 each or a “$20 Buck Bundle” which is any combination of 3 items for $20.00.
All Ministry Teams will meet, Tuesday, May 21st, 6 pm.
Anniversary Quilt - There are still a few squares to be made. Interested in making one, talk to Laurie Honadel, she will be glad to give assistance.

Hunter has a goal ~~ to collect one million tabs to help add a room to a McDonald House. Hunter has reached the half-way mark of his goal so continue to save those tabs.

This is Pentecost Weekend - On the fiftieth day of Easter we celebrate the Spirit, through whom and in whom the people of God are created and re-created. Pentecost is sometimes called the church's birthday, but might more appropriately be called its baptism day, since the gift of the Spirit is the fullness of baptism.
