Welcoming, deepening and serving in faith for all of God's people.
A Brief History
Bread of Life Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and held its first worship service on Sunday, March 20, 1988, at Edison School in Minot. Four years later, on May 17, 1992 the congregation broke ground for their first building. The church was largely built with the help of Mission Builders, a ministry of the ELCA.
Since that time, Bread of Life has grown into a committed community of disciples seeking to serve God's mission in the world. Bread of Life prides itself in being a ‘welcoming place’ to those in our community who may not have a community of faith to call "home." Sharing the gift of hospitality with those who enter our doors is an important aspect of our communal identity. Likewise, we have a heart for outreach and caring for those in our community. In 2013, Bread of Life Lutheran church celebrated its 25th anniversary! It has been a wonderful 25 years of ministry and we look forward to breaking bread together for many more!
